Bigdog / Hustler Steering Damper by GA Spares

Keep your zero turn mower tracking straight with this non-genuine BigDog and HUSTLER steering damper, SKU CHD8542. It replaces OEM part 600221 and controls steering motion on selected ZTR ride-on models, reducing wheel kickback and fatigue over long mowing sessions. The damper measures 8.464" (215 mm) closed and 9.842" (250 mm) extended, with a 1.068" (27.15 mm) body diameter, and connects via two diecast 10 mm ball socket connectors with steel bands plus M6 threads. Supplied as a single unit, it suits a wide range of 36" to 60" cut decks across A, C, R, X, Diablo, Stout, FasTrak, Sport, SuperDuty and Zeon series machines. Please note some models use more than one type of damper, so check your machine carefully before ordering.
